To the Lake Hammarsjön it was really great. You could have driven around the lake and had plenty of parking options. Of course there were also places where you had to pay something, but there were also plenty of free places. We hope, of course, that there are still many such places to be found on our way through Sweden.

Skurugata nature reserve - the gorge has it all
When we in Hjältevad When we drove off and had to turn right the first time and blink, we almost had a fit. A problem rarely comes alone, but with the hotplate it is now the third problem. Our right indicator in the back doesn't work anymore !! Are we annoyed ... In the parking lot from Skurugata nature reserve Basti took a quick look at it, but decided to check it later at the campsite.
After we've all eaten, we made our way through the Skurugata Gorge and up to the hill. The hike has a length of approx. 2.5 km. First we want to go through the gorge. This time, the paths are a little wider and not just trails, at least as far as the gorge, but it also goes over hill and dale. When we arrive at the gorge, we are amazed. You walk through like a canyon below. Finja can still run well for the first few meters. The path becomes a path and very soft from the rain of the last few days. And there are no end mosquitos down here. If only we had looked carefully at the pictures beforehand.
The Skurugata Canyon gorge itself is only 800 meters long. However, we didn't know that you had to "climb" up and down over scree. Not feasible for Finja. So we carried them alternately, if only we had taken their rucksack with us. But she did a great job and accepted her fate without fidgeting.
When we had a mountain of rubble in front of us, we had been looking forward to the end of the gorge. Too early, as we discovered above. There was a wooden sign on a rock wall with the word “Gästbok” on it. A stone underneath was loose in the rock wall and I thought you could write in there. I put the stone back straight away, I didn't want to touch the book.
At the next scree mountain it actually looked like the end and after 1 1 / 4h we made the gorge. Finja could run herself again. We are soaked in sweat and done from climbing. We vowed to take a closer look at the next gorge and think about whether we should do it again. Definitely not without a backpack for Finja! Now it went up to the Skuruhatt. There is a lookout point over the country. So we apparently need a little more training. Once at the top we are pretty out of breath. But the view makes up for everything!
We take a break here, eat and drink something and come back from the exertion. You have a great view of the country, the forest and a lake. Of course you could have walked straight up the hill from the parking lot and left the gorge. But then it would only have been half as nice. There are also several fire pits and benches on and on the hill, and apparently it is used a lot. The way back to the parking lot is even wheelchair accessible and a relaxation for us. After a 2h hike, for only 2.5km, we are back at the car and look forward to driving to a campsite with a shower.
Movänta campsite - with German operator
The next campsite on the way was that Movänta Camping in Hult, directly on the lake Försjön. We had read that it was run by a German, luck for us because of all the car problems. The place is very big, but in a great location. We were able to get a place at the lake, but there weren't that many campers there either. I have already taken advantage of this and washed it at a campsite. It was great that there was even a dryer and that the laundry could be put back in the closet.
The place offers many parking options. There are also various houses to rent, from simple sleeping huts to a holiday home. In the middle of the square facing the lake there is a large meadow with a small playground and swimming area as well as a boat dock. Canoes can also be rented. There is also a restaurant, which is open daily in the high season, July and August, and also from May to September on the weekends. There is also a mini golf course. It is an ideal place for families with children, as the children have many opportunities for employment.
We stayed 2 nights, so I could wash enough and Basti wanted to deal with the blinker problem the next day. Brigitte then offered to call the workshop so that we can read out the error relating to the turbocharger. But she told us straight away that “repairing things” is not possible here in Sweden, so you have to bring some time with you. Basti then occupied himself with the blinker the next day and in the evening it also worked. My husband's mood suddenly improved.
We also worked a bit on the homepage, now you can even read our page in English. After we met the 2 women on Öland who thought our site was great but couldn't read it, this was a concern for us. So we had achieved quite a bit and then wanted to drive to a workshop the next day. We felt comfortable and in good hands on the pitch. You could speak to Brigitte for everything and she always helped you when it was possible.

Linköping - Mercedes dealer and workshop
Since we looked at Mercedes workshops when the problem with the turbocharger appeared, it was important to Basti to visit one of these. So we are then after Linkoping drove to the Mercedes dealer. On the way the blinker started to spin again. Now my husband was slowly at a loss as to what it could be. Basti got by at the dealer with English. An employee was then allowed to read the error message, but Basti got another address directly from a workshop in Norrköping. There we should be able to be helped faster than they could because they would be busy.
The employee, Kristoffer, took an incredible amount of time to isolate the problem. He was really very nice and discussed with Basti, looked in the engine compartment and explained. We hope he didn't get in trouble from his boss because he helped us more than he was allowed to. But he expressly emphasized that it was important to him to help us. We had the feeling that he had fun talking and chatting in English all the time.
The problem is probably either with the wiring of the turbocharger or the magnetic pressure cell. He then also told Basti what he could do to find the fault exactly. He also gave us the readout protocol so that we can present it to the other workshop. He was really a great help to us and didn't want any compensation for his time. For him it was all service treatment. Unbelievable, you rarely find such people !! After we were still shopping, we looked for a parking space nearby because we didn't want to drive another 1 1 / 2h.
This place was once again directly on a bird sanctuary, Svartamynningen nature reserve in Linköping. First we ate something because it was later. Then we went to the observation tower. On the way there we came through a Swedish garden. They are more like weekend houses than gardens. They also set up tall wooden boxes with breeding holes here. These were also used diligently. Basti took some nice bird photos.
Since it's Friday and the workshop doesn't open again until Monday, we want to spend the next 2 days around Norrköping. Especially since Basti wanted to deal with the blinker and the turbocharger.
